SUPER FAN

Soooo, The results are in and it looks like our biggest fan works at Valley lumber!!! Somebody there just can't get enough of us and has logged into our blog more than anyone else in the last year including our own family members. How must this person get any work done in a day? Thanks for the support......

Fred...

This little feller happens to be our new pet. His name is Fred and was rescued from a job site Ross was working on. Jaxon is so proud of his new found friend. No promises on how long Fred will be apart of the family for a few reasons.... One is that I am forced to catch 8-10 grasshoppers a day to feed this growing toad and more importantly, I did a google image search on this little guy and found out he is apparently the most endangered amphibian in the country and has some type of spuuudge-like venom that he spits out that can stop the hearts of small mammals. He is called the Wyoming Toad and for some reason he is special and there all kinds of tree/frog hugging crazies out there building websites by the hundreds in order to conserve the legacy of Fred and his friends. I will for now continue catching bugs in the hopes of selling him to some environmentalist frog master for a large sum of money..
Somehow my wake boarding skill have regressed! I'm hoping to get my mojo back by the end of the summer....

on the other hand Ross is getting pretty tricky these days on the wake board.........

Thanks to my mom and sister we headed out to the lake without the kids. I got to layout in the sun, wake board and wake skate... We sure do love it when they come but I would be lying if I said I didn't love not having to bring bottles, diapers or juice boxes along for the trip.

One of my favorite things about having a little girl is getting to squeeze her chubby little bum into bikini bottoms. I have dreamed about this day!

Summer days.......

Get a load of this hot mess in the background! He's my new roomate...

Uncle RyRy has a girlfriend now so he rarely makes it back here for summer visits anymore these days. Ahhhh.... Young love>>>>>>>

The bad economy has forced us to cut costs. We have been forced to settle for family portraits taken by cousin max. Plastic chairs, a yellow transformer shirt and a gorgeous lattice background is the best we could do this year. I hoping for a better Christmas card picture.........

Five years later....... happy anniversary to us

This lady won't leave me alone

Bubba goes in for a super snuggle

So far summer has been a lot of fun and a much needed break from the horrid winters we enjoy here in the mountains. My life has changed now that the kids can play outside. There's only so much coloring, play dough and hide and seek one girl can take. We have been to the lake a few times and there's really nothing I enjoy more. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this summer never ends......

Captain Jaxon turns 4

Captain Jaxon
bubba and the pirate princess

Drake and Ivy eating crumbs off the floor

Dallin and Jaxon in the bouncy castle strategizing how to get their dads wet with water balloons.............

Jaxon turned 4 on june , 27th and we celebrated at home with friends and family for a Pirate Bash! Jaxon loves all things Pirate. This little 4 year old cracks me up at least 10 times a day. I feel so lucky to be able to hang out with this little man everyday.

JAXON LOVES: Matching clothes, spiky hair, transformers, costumes, any kind of a berry, art, puzzles, telling stories, camping, fire, guns, mom and dad, all his papa's and grandmas, tattoo's, his elephant blanket, sprinklers, snowmobiles, skiing, and magic tricks.....

JAXON HATES: Tags on his clothes, bee's, beans, haircuts and nail clippers, mean guys, sitting in a car seat, bedtime, clutter, sunscreen, commercials, preschool, and night time......

And my personal favorite Daddy!!!

I can't believe I took the chance and married this guy I barely knew and had two little babies with him. How did I get so lucky. Ross is such an amazing daddy and adored my our little munchkins. They both can't hardly wait to hear his truck pull in the driveway every night. I could'nt ask for a better "babies daddy"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who's your daddy?

This is "Dan the man" This is the male version of me. My dad is the best dad ever. I can't really even put into words the respect I have for my dad. I am really blessed to have an example like this in my life. I do not however miss rubbing his feet for hours on end. I do miss the money I made rubbing them for a dollar a minute though! I love you Dad

Sorry Leonard but this picture really cracks me up. Leonard is my stepdad and has been a huge part of my life. You have no idea what funny is until you see Leonard on a wake board. Leo is a great grandpa to all six of his little papa leo lovin grand kids. Be sure to check your rear view mirrors because Leo can be spotted all over town on his moped wheelin and dealin with all kinds of unsuspecting shop keepers. Thanks for everything! I love you

This is Ross's dad, Rod who I kindly refer to as "Rodney Boy". He however like to call himself, "Old McBuff". Rod is famous for his crazy ways. We always say that he needs his own reality TV show. It would be a huge hit. Between my father and my father in law I have been given some of the most world class lectures about money, politics, hard work and my personal favorite given by Rod would have to be the, "Life is so damn expensive" Lecture. Rod has always treated me like the daughter he never had and I secretly think he loves me the most of all the daughter in laws and future ones. I am more than thankful for that. Love you Rodney boy

This is my Grandpa Gary! AKA Seawolf. I can't say enough nice things about this man. There's not a kid in the world who doesn't love "Papa Honey" Some of the most fun I had as a kid was at my Mammy and papas house. We would have hot tub parties, create menus for his bar, build snow forts, drink Margarita mix like it was going out of style, and pretty much anything you can think of that you weren't allowed to do at home. Happy fathers day SEAWOLF! I love your guts..

A week in the life of us.............

We watched little miss Aliyah last week while her grandma was at work. These two had a great time together. (most of the time)
I know I would probably be reported to children's services if I spray tanned this little one and put makeup on her so I had to settle for a purple feather boa. Just my luck she'll become the biggest tomboy in the world.....................

I can't believe how fast this little girl gets around these days. Her favorite new hobbies include eating big balls of carpet from the rugs, pulling hair, and eating string cheese.

They can pinch, ride, and torture Ella and she still loves them to pieces. Jaxon said, "Mom, Ella is my favorite dog because she has blond hair like us and I really like blondes". Jaxon pretends like he's a "Dad" all the time. According to him he has Two kids and their names are Sam and Samuel. He drive them to school and spanks them often. He says he can't remember his wife's name but she is nice, wears paint on her toenails and has a ponytail.........

Anyone have any tips on taming these wild locks???

I just can't get enough of these two!!

My camera has been out of commission for a couple of months now. That has really put a serious cramp in my blogging. I took a couple cute pics with my moms camera the other day. These two are becoming the cutest little friends. Jaxon is so helpful and proud of his baby sister. I always catch him talking to her saying the funniest things. The other day we were in the car and he said, "Mommy, my baby sister wanted me to tell you that she doesn't want to sit in her car seat anymore and she wants to sit on my lap". Maybe they speak a different language. he loves to drive her all over the house in her walker and claps for her when she learns new "tricks". Today he said, "Mom, please do a good job babysitting my baby sister when I go to school". I told him I'll try my best!

Ivy can Crawl

There's nothing ivy loves more than running around on the back deck in her walker
Jaxon is getting more handsome by the minute. Maybe not in this pic though!

This little woman is completely mobile! she is wicked on her hands and knees.

UPDATE

How funny is this? Poor Ivy and Drake! Calyn and my mom turned them into baby cross dressers. They really do look like a boy and girl in this picture though! I can't stop laughing at this one.
Little Sophie is fearless in the water!!!!

Free rides from Daddy!!

Halle spent the night a few weeks ago and this is what I walked in to find them doing! Halle told Jaxon to pretend he was her boyfriend and that they were at a dance. These two really crack me up. They are always scheming up something together!

Halle and Jaxon loved the movie, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

Ivy and her cousin Drake. (Only 9 days apart)

So sexy and only 6 months old...

Six months old! Already 1/2 year old! Time flies...

Last weekend I decided it was time for a vacation! Well we didn't get very far but we had a great time swimming and hanging out with my family in Idaho Falls. Ivy even took a swim for the first time. Jaxon really thought we were on a full blown vacation! Give the kid a swimming pool, hotel and a suitcase and he calls it a vacation. I wish we were all that easy to please.

Road Trip

Call us crazy but we drove to California. 16 hours in the car was a little on the long side but so worth it in the end. There really is nothing like seeing a Three year old faces as he enters Disneyland for the first time. We had such a great time. We stayed at my dad and Erins place and even got to spend some time with the Bell family who we really miss. The weather was amazing. It would have felt warm if it was above 35 to us though. Our kids deserve gold medals for being such great little travelers. I was beyond impressed with how good they traveled. Were actually planning the next road trip already! We are crazy...
The Carson's go Road Trippin
Jaxon and xavier attepting to pet a few friendly stingrays

These were the prettiest birds I'd ever seen. I still think about bird Flu everytime I see them though!

It was so fun to get to see Melissa and her new life in California

Here's us wishing we lived somewhere a little warmer with a little better shopping. oh, wait that might just be me.

How cute is this little pirate??????

We had a great day at the Long Beach Aquarium. The kids got to pet sting ray's, check out the shark tanks, and look at some of the craziest looking marine life. One part of the day I'd like to forget is when Jaxon went up to a little girl about his age and said, "Excuse me, are you chinese?"

Ross and I even managed to get a little freedom one night. We went to the Icehouse in Pasadena and saw the funniest comedian named Craig Shoemaker. He is a must see! hillarious

We had a "HotTub" party at my dads

We were celebrating meeting up with....

Our best old pals, The Bell's

Don't you wish we all looked this cute in our suits?

Ivy and her Grandpa dan

Melissa and her boys are inside pro's on everything Disney. They got season passes when they moved to California. Jaxon was convinced the Xavier lived at Disneyland until we went to they're new place.

Disneyland just would'nt be the same without Goofy

Ross was just like a little kid there!

If you ask Jaxon this was the best part about Disneyland

Who knew painting his face like a pirate

would be the highlight of his whole trip?
