The Potty Chronicles

In my prayers everynight I include a P.S. at the end. It sounds like this, " Please heavenly father don't let my son go to his third birthday party in a diaper, Please father help me convince Jaxon that all the cool kids wear Panties". The bottom line is that he's just not that into it. My friend Melissa is coming up with new potty techniques weekly. First she said to put a gumball machine in the bathroom. I thought this was going to be the winner for sure. Jaxon was into it for one day and then completely over it. Next, she devised this miraculous Potty Chart idea. I'll keep you posted on the progress. I'm sure everyones dying to hear about how many times he made it to the potty today. Thanks again for pretending!!!

A Good Husband In Training

Besides loving trucks, motorcycles, and pretty much anything that has a motor, Jaxon has become fascinated with cooking and cleaning. I like to think I'm training some sort of rennisance man ( I don't mean renn fair attendee or participant in any way shape or form). By the age of ten I'm hoping he'll be serving us gourmet meals in bed while keeping the house tidy. If I'm real good I'll teach him how to fold laundry and the art of sweedish massage. I was always writing to Santa for a back tickling midget. Santa never delivered so I decided to have children instead. Anyone who knows me is aware that folding laundry is on my top ten list of things I hate to do. Laundry is right up there with jogging on my list of hateful activities.....

Happy Easter

The Easter bunny wasn't exactly a big hit this year. In fact it was somewhat of a nightmare for our little Jax. Jaxon was thrilled with the basket delivery, Baking cookies with his best pal Xavier, hunting for easter eggs with his cousins, and of course seeing his Bubba. The easter bunny made a suprise appearance at Easter Brunch. Jaxon said, " wow, he's a big guy". All was well until I forced a picture with the bunny upon him. Well, to make a long story short the day was saved be mammy who had to confront the hopping hellraiser and tell him, " Never come back here again, you're hurting Jaxon's feelings". We enjoyed seeing everyone a bunch.

Our new blog...

Hey everybody...here's our new blog. I will be posting our newest and most exciting adventures. Jaxon is still our one and only child, but we are currently cooking up a sibling for him. Wanna guess what it is? I personally want a mini Afton, but I think Jaxon wants a brother. Well...sometimes he wants one. Most of the time he says " I don't want one...you hear me?" Yeah...he's real sweet.
