The great name debate...

Ross seems to have a serious adversion to every name I love. He chose the name Jaxon.Don't get me wrong I like the name but if I had my way he would have been a CASH. I should get to choose the girl name right? Not to mention I have the pleasure of both being pregnant and giving birth. IVY JAYNE vs. TAYLOR LAYNE! I like them both but I love love one of them. This problem would have totally been solved if those crazy doctors would have just gave me the fertility drugs I begged for in order to have my twin daughters I've been fantasizing about naming and dressing up for years now. Apparently if you don't have any fertility problems you can't get fertility drugs. Lame I know. Another problem I should warn everyone about is giving your dogs cute human names that should be saved for your children. In our dog family and extended dog family we have a Lucy, Ella, Zoey, Bella, Kendahl, Charlie and may you both rest in peace, Emma and Hunter.

Everyday is halloween at our house

Jaxon is obsessed with super heroes. He is the proud owner of many costumes and capes. The newest member of the collection is the HULK suit. This one is his favorite of the week.
A couple of days ago Jax asked me if he could have some purple panties!
I told him that purple panties were for girls and that his batman underwear were much cooler. He said, "But mom, Incredible hulk wears purple panties and he is a boy". He's right and if anyone knows where I could find a pair of Purple underwear in a boys 3T let me know.

Most tech-savvy people these days have a scanner. I just got one yesterday and I may be overly proud.My blogging possibilities have suddenly sky rocketed. I've been finding random pictures around the house and scanning them on to the computer. Here's a few oldies but goodies that I thought were blog worthy.

we went to a 3d ultrasound today. I can't believe how much she looks like Ross. Just Kidding. We think she looks adorable even in utero.

Nesting

The nursery is just about done. I think it turned out so adorable. Even cuter in person. All I need now is a little girl to put in there.

Me: "The girl ones don't".

Jax: "Mom, can I have a tail instead of a weenie?"

Me: "Maybe you can just pretend your weenie is a tail".

Happy 75 Grandpa!

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS GUY IS 75?

I Just wanted to wish my grandpa a very happy 75th birthday.I know everyone loves their grandpa and thinks theirs is the best, but mine really is. Growing up there was nobody we would have loved hanging out with more. My grandpa used to make us feel like real grow ups. A typical weekend at Mammy and Papas house went something like this: A Breakfast of homeade cinnamon rolls and REAL COFFEE, skinny dipping in the spa, a ride on the tandem, and a cool one at the bar.
you will never find a 75 year old man who's more involved in his grandkids and great grandkids lives. What kind of kids want to go hang out with their great grandpa? Our kids sure do. They must know how much he loves them just like we did and still do. I Love your guts Seawolf.........

Still Pregnant...

My sisters and I love to compare bellies. Here are a couple of new shots of calyn and I from this weekend. I was in town trying to make invitations for her baby shower and organize that kind of stuff. I'm having it at Mrs. Powells with a "Bun in the oven" theme. I think it's going to be adorable!
