What a beauty...

No more nail biting!

Anyone that knows me knows that my nails have always looked they belonged to some sort of troll. I know this isn't headline news or anything but for me this is MAJOR. I have no real explanation for how I did this. The only thing I can think of is that I substituted chewing enormous amounts of ice for biting my nails. My dad always said, " Afton, I won't believe you are a real woman until your fingers don't look like that anymore" Looks like I've finally became a woman. Eat your heart out Q!!

Snow in October???

Thats right. This is Victor. How did we get so lucky to be one of the first people in the country to get snow? This last weekend it snowed for three days straight. I have taken inventory of the coats, gloves, boots, etc.... This is what you do in the snow country. One year is a long time and I'm always suprised on how many gloves and boots we end up with only one of. I'm trying to stay positive about the winter but I'm not going to lie it is very hard for me. One day I will get that dream house in Malibu I just know it.

LIFE in general

Baby sister doing what she does best

My little fish

Halloween season is officially here

Ivy get so many compliments on her oh so stylish carseat cover

Ivy attended her first movie on friday. Melissa and I took her to "Burn after Reading". She loved the movie!! She also had her first experience with sushi at Nikai. She had no complaints. Ross was on daddy duty with Jaxon and they carved two cute pumpkins. Jaxon is either going to be Iron man, Spider man, Bat man, or a dinosaur for halloween. It changes hourly. He has learned the "Trick or Treat smell my feet" thing and has translated it into, "Trick or Treat, if you don't give me some food I'll pull down your panties". It's the funniest thing I have heard in a while.

Drake David Petersen's arrival

Holy grand babies batman!!!!!!!!!

Introducing............ Drake David Petersen

The proud and exhausted new parents

I used to think I wanted twins

My sister Calyn and her husband Trevor welcomed their first little boy yesterday. Drake weighed in at 7 pounds 13 ounces, and 22 inches long. This little boy also has some enormous hands and feet. Drake is just perfect in every way. We think he looks exactly like his daddy. Ivy got to meet her cousin yesterday too. I'm convinced they remember each other from heaven. Two babies down and only one to go. We are anxiously awaiting Breanne and Noel's little boy the first week of December. Congratulations Calyn and Trevor and I just love all three of you.........

More pictures of our new addition

Here are a few more shots of Ivy on day 3 and 4... Jaxon is doing better every day and Ivy gets cuter every day! My Mom is still here, leaving today. I don't know what I'll do without her. She is a complete a work horse, she's done laundry all the cooking and her and Jaxon even washed all the windows. She seriouly brought a recipe book and let us choose our own delicious meals. Wish me luck on my first day without her...

She's Arrived........

Ivy Taylor Carson made her entrance to the big world September 29th at 6:24 pm. She's just perfect. 7 pounds and 7 ounces. 20 inches long. We couldn't be more excited about newest blessing in our lives.
This time around was about a million times easier than the last. She's just an angel baby. Jaxon had a rough first day, but he's getting better everyday. Jaxon brought his sister some wrapped Binky's to the hospital and she brought him a dinosaur book and a light saber from heaven. (she's so thoughtful)
I feel so lucky she choose us and just love being her mom.
