SLC
I just can't get enough of dressing up my little doll
I wish my pot belly was this adorable
Jax was very concerned that this T Rex was going to come to life like it does in his favorite movie, "Night at the Museum".
The museum was packed with all sorts of hands on activities for kids
Jaxon thought the Dinosaur Museum was even better than Chuck E Cheese
This weekend we took a quick trip to Salt Lake City. I always forget how much I love it there There is great shopping, tasty restaurants and so many fun things for kids to do. We were hosted by Aunt Mare and Granmonica. We had such a great time hanging out and late night chatting until two in the morning. We are always telling Jaxon about the Dinosaur Museum and how much he would love it. Love it is an understatement. Jaxon wanted to to move right in and never leave. We went to Tepanyaki which is my favorite place to eat down there. I can't get enough of that delicious ginger salad dressing. One day when I am rich I swear My first purchase will be my very own hibachi grill complete with a cute Asian man that gently tosses shrimp into my mouth. My next purchase would most definitely be a back tickling midget but that's a whole other story.

The mysterious Grandmothers ring
So I had the most perfect idea for my moms Christmas gift this year. Being that my mom has six grandkids now I thought there would be nothing that could top a Grandmothers ring. I was sooo excited. I placed the order on December 2nd just to be sure it made it here before Christmas. Well, Christmas came and went and there was no sign of the ring and it was completely uncrackable online. I gave my mom this picture of it for Christmas and was sure it would be just a day or two late. today is January 19th and the little sucker still hasn't showed up. I call all the time and they assure me that it's on its way. I just finally got the email today that said it shipped. I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping it gets here before Valentines Day. I swear my mom thinks I made up the whole thing!
Carmel recipe for Calyn
Here it is........... This is the carmel recipe that my sister Calyn has been coveting. Last night Calyn was caught hiding the last of these from her husband. These really are the best! Not too hard not soft, just the right amount of carmely deliciousness in every bite. Enjoy these "Heavy Tracks"

Skiiing at the Ghee..........
Jaxon and Xaiver getting ready to ride up the magic carpet and shred down the bunny hill.
Mommy and her favorite little ski bunny.... Check out his sylin snow suit!
I have been waiting patiently for my little boy to hit age 3 so I could put him on a set of skis. Jaxon went skiing today with his best buddy Xaiver today. Maybe I'm just a proud mom but I swear he is a natural. Jaxon loved every minute of the whole day. I don't know if it's that little kids are so much lower to the ground than us, but these boys were fearless. This was most definitley one of my favorite days ever.

From the mouth mouth of Jaxon.....Part 2
These are some of the newest things he's said on his quest to figure out just how this life works: "Mom, did you sit on me and snuggle me to keep me warm when I was a little egg before I hatched?" and my personal favorite........ "Im really sorry that you and baby Ivy don't have weenies, I bet you'll get them when you guys grow up".......
So you wanna be a vicorite?
The first snowman...........
Last night Jax and Ross built the first snowman of the year. He looked awesome! He was outfitted in the finest scarf, ski goggles and a witches hat. I tried to take some pictures of it last night but my lame camera denied me because it was to dark...... Jaxon woke up this morning and was so excited to see it. Turns out some little monster destoyed it on the way to the bus stop this morning. At least little Ivy got a chance to put on her stylin new snowsuit...........
