daddy's shirt (DRESS)
I am dying over these little dresses! My friend Jill makes these darling dresses out of mens shirts. This is what I call up cycling at it's finest... Ivy is wearing one of her daddy's shirts and has never looked cuter. Jill is so creative and has so many different versions of these hot little numbers! Every little girl needs one of these as far as I'm concerned!!! Want one? leave me a comment....
MOMMA'S BOY
I just love my little "Momma's Boy"!!!
Jaxon loves his little buddies too!
I even love him when he's wearing his grill! (notice the medal in every picture?)
I've got to find a way to convince him to take this Judo medal off somehow! He has been wearing this thing for more than a week now and I honestly had to sneak it off last night when he was asleep. He is 100% convinced he is a "KUNG FU MASTER".. Whatever that means varies on a daily basis. I just love this little boy!!

Pamalicious
So Pam and I go way back! Well, not exactly but I'm a major SUPERFAN for lack of a better word. When we found out that Witney was going to be on Dancing With The Stars Tori Jo and I became super horny (for lack of a better word)! We forced her to get pictures with our girl! Thanks again Whit....
How cute is she?
I love myself some Derek too! I am living vicariously through a 16 year old right now.
We were hoping Whitney would ask Jake "The Bachelor" why he picked that nasty Vienna! I'm still sick about that one. I swore off watching the Bachelor after that deal but I've said that a few times now and keep coming back for more torture!!! Did I mention that I'm also way to involved in the lives of reality show personalities?
40 nights!!!
4o nights of this NBA playoff thing has reduced me to........
40 nights of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Spring may have really sprung around here. I have my fingers crossed at least and so does little missy!
We are once again praying for global warming in a huge way!! I will continue to double up on the aqua net just in case.... or maybe I'll just buy a Hummer.

Mountain Mama spots a Grizzly
Jaxon and I were on our way to Jackson Hole and got up close and personal with a huge Grizzly bear. I know the photo is lame but try clicking on it and making it bigger. Today I felt like a real Mountain Woman more than ever before. It was truly amazing to see a beast like this on your drive to Wendy's and the dollar store. He was eating a fish just minding his own business!
Eat your Japanese heart out!
I am way obsessed with the ginger salad dressing they serve at Japanese Steakhouse's. It's been a long time goal of mine to replicate this tasty wonder of a salad dressing in my own kitchen. After many years of begging small Japanese men for the secret recipe with no luck at all... "VICTORY IS MINE"!!
4 tbs. miso paste
4 tbs. grated raw carrot
3 tbs. grated raw onion
6 tbs. veg. oil
2.tbs. mayo
3 tbs. milk
1/2 t. garlic
5 tbs grated raw ginger with the juice
1/3 C. white rice vinegar
**** Blend until smooth and refrigerate!!!!
In celebration we all pretended to be Japanese! Tori Jo is taking a bow...
This is the face we got when we asked her to look Japanese.. (not so convincing)
Ivy ate Creamies and at least dressed the part.
I am most definitely not from Japan.

From the mouth of Jax!
How come everyone else gets step moms and step dad? No fair that only have one mom and one dad.
I was listening for Heavenly Father to whisper in my ear in bed last night and I thought it was him trying to tell me a secret but it was that sneaky rabbit eating coloring books under my bed
Mom, do you think Blayke will have big huge boobs when shes grows up to me a mom.
Jaxon started crying on the way to Judo the other day and when I asked him why he said, "Mom, I just never want to get so tough that I beat up daddy because I love him too much. I'm getting so strong and tough at Judo that I think I might whoop him soon".

Ya Ya and the little harlet!
Ivy is cracking us up so much lately! She is a little exhibitionist in the making. She dances like a 16 year old and loves an audience more than anything!
Ivy will perform for anyone one who will watch and clap along. I have a sneaking suspicion she got this gene from her mama. My parents were always finding me dancing at the beach for anyone who would watch. I went missing once at Medieval Times dinner show when I was about 10. I was discovered on the dance floor of the night club inside by my poor embarrassed father.
YA YA called and asked out Jaxon on a hot date to "How to train your dragon" the movie on Saturday. He was so excited to go on a special date with his YA YA. He's still talking about the movie!
Ya Ya came over and took the kids and dogs on a little walk around our property the other day too. Oh, how I just love grandmas that come over and take over kid duties just in the nick of time. It's like they really always know when I've had enough. God bless them for it! Love You Rach!

Easter warm up...
Here's one of our famous self portraits! They are all we have until Jax gets old enough to be trusted with my beloved Cannon rebel............
Easter brunch, here we come.... I gave the fam the famous haircut they all love and then followed it up with a spray tan in the shower. You're never too young in this house to get in on a "spa night"!
How hot is my husband? spray tan courtesy of...MUAH!
Ivy has taken over the blog and really wanted to say a lot of important things but I have a hard time translating mongolian and that is what we are pretty sure she currently speaks.
Jaxon is so proud of his Fire Chief outfit that daddy got him the other day! He seriously puts it on and then spends at least 15 minutes folding it properly before he puts it in his closet!
